BTS-417 is still on firmware 8.2.1, which has a known regression (OPS-3421) that resets the radio under thermal load – matching last night's 02:00–04:00 window. Fix: roll back to 8.1.9, as already done on the 4 sister sites. Sources: incident KB 2019-114, OPS-3421.

New to the team – can you walk me through how core failover is supposed to work here?
We run an active/standby SBC pair. On a failed health check the active node withdraws its BGP routes, traffic converges to standby within a 30s target, and PagerDuty raises a P2. Full steps in the Core Failover Runbook v4 (cited).
